The U.S. is failing North Atlantic right whales, which are on the brink of extinction with only around 370 whales left. Now, due to the United States’ inaction, the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (cecnorthamerica), part of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), includes representatives from each country, voted unanimously to investigate U.S. shortcomings to protect North Atlantic right whales.
