Unboxing the future of deep space exploration 📦
Gateway will be humanity’s first space station to orbit around the Moon. A core component of Gateway is now on American soil and one step closer to launch.
Gateway’s HALO (Habitation and Logistics Outpost) is out of its transport container and in the cleanroom at the NorthropGrumman facility in Gilbert, Arizona, after a transatlantic trip from ThalesAleniaSpace in Turin, Italy. The pressurized module will undergo final outfitting there ahead of integration with the Power and Propulsion Element. The pair of modules will launch together on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket ahead of NASA’s Artemis IV mission.
