As an R1 university classified for the highest level of research activity, UNH has so many interesting research facilities that many in our campus community never even get the opportunity to see. But today, we're throwing the doors wide open as ocean engineering major Kelsea shows us around Chase Ocean Engineering Lab! 🌊 This state-of-the-art facility supports our faculty and students conducting research in the areas of ocean engineering, ocean mapping, ocean acoustics, hydrogeology, and hydrographic surveying. This is where the saltwater magic happens! Our researchers are learning new ways to get energy from the waves, explore the bottom of the ocean, protect coastal communities from sea level rise, and more.
