Community safety in action ✨🤗🏡⁣ ⁣ While patrolling Reservoir Railway Station, our PSOs encountered an elderly gentleman who appeared lost and vulnerable.⁣ ⁣ The man spoke very little English, but between the four members - collectively fluent in six languages - they discovered they could communicate with him in Greek. After gathering more details, a quick call to officers from a nearby station revealed the gentleman had been missing for over five hours.⁣ ⁣ The 96-year-old who suffers from dementia, had left home around noon to buy groceries and since lost his way.⁣ ⁣ Thankfully, our PSOs were able to ensure his safe return home.
