Ever since joining the Air Force and transitioning to the Space Force, Sgt. Andrew Rao knew he wanted to serve and protect his nation from cyberspace threats. Through obtaining a cybersecurity degree in the Space Force, Sgt. Rao found the motivation he needed to excel as a student, an engineer and then a Guardian. As a cyber network operations supervisor, he maintains network environments and improves network infrastructure capabilities to block adversaries from launching cyberattacks for Schriever Space Force Base.
