Our bus broke down in Nashville. Gutted. But as we sat between an old Jamba Juice and a local funeral home, waiting for a mechanic to come save us, weilerharmon and emmebowe appeared out of nowhere. Weiler, an entertainment coordinator at Nashville SC, lover of music, and certified soccer sicko had some stories to tell to keep our spirits up. He attended Drogba’s last game for Chelsea (first stint), his dad coached Clint Dempsey at the youth level, he witnessed “Deuce” score the first hat-trick by an American in the Premier League, and these days, he’s at the center of integrating Nashville’s rich music scene with the matchday experience at the club. They even brought us a custom NSC miniature guitar for the bus—plus some awesome books and other trinkets. All in all, it was a wonderful visit by weilerharmon and emmebowe.
