This weekend’s Junior Wheelchair Rugby Camp was so much fun with our Fun-Focused Open Day and Bowling Social on Saturday and the Youth Advanced Skills Session on Sunday. Youth with disabilities from the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island came together to have fun, play games, make friends, and learn more about Wheelchair Rugby from mentors and role models in the BC Wheelchair Rugby community.
Thanks to Coach Byron Green, mentor athletes Max Arsenault, Teresa Campbell, Tyler de Jager and Nathan Bragg, plus all of volunteers and parents for making it happen.
We’re grateful to the Government of B.C., Disability Alliance BC and Canadian Tire Jumpstart for their support of BCWSA’s Junior Wheelchair Rugby Camp and supporting the growth of Junior Wheelchair Rugby programs and athletes.
