I got my start working in Indiana as an educator because of the people who were working at Veritas back in 2018. When I left the organization before the 2020 season started I never thought I would get the chance to return. I especially never thought I’d have a chance to return to the media team and not teach cymbals. I didn’t realize it in the moment but, “Sit With It” was the perfect time in my life for me to come back to the home team, or at least the closest thing I’ve ever had to a home team in the indoor activity. Getting to watch so many former students be a part of this program in particular was an absolute gift. I am so incredibly grateful to be back here once again. This series of long exposure photos is not an only a reflection of the work the members put on the floor, but also a representation of how this indoor season has gone for myself.
