At least 34 civilians have been killed and more than 117 injured in a suspected Russian missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Sumy. Among the dead are at least five children.⁣ ⁣ The attack took place on Palm Sunday at 10:15 a.m., striking the heart of the city as people gathered for the holiday.⁣ ⁣ Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy condemned the strike and called for a global response. He said “dozens” were killed in what he described as a deliberate attack on civilians.⁣ ⁣ The leaders of Britain, Germany and Italy condemned the attack.
