Graduating senior computer information systems major Justin DeCambre saw an increase in sales for his clothing brand, DoubleMs, once he pivoted to a popular social media platform. “Everything you do is trial and error because you don’t know what works; you don’t know what tomorrow will bring…what tomorrow brought was approximately 2,300 orders via the social app,” DeCambre said. Sophomore international business major Raina Ford believes balancing social media marketing and traditional methods is important.
