The U.S. District Court Judge Xinis says that the Supreme Court reaffirmed her order that Kilmar must be returned to the United States. Miller claims that the court’s use of the word ‘facilitate’ means that the federal government just has to allow El Salvador to return Kilmar to the U.S. if they chose to but that the order does not instruct, nor can the court demand, the President to use his powers to return Kilmar home.
