“I love music that blurs the lines between the coldly electronic and the totally human and visceral, and

@santigold are my favorite examples of that. I've also started to get into 90s big beat and techno–like The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, and the like. It was the soundtrack of the rave scene back in the day, and that's usually how I wrap up my show.”
When asked about one of the records that got them through last year, DJ Rhinestone easily chooses “STFU!” by
@rinasonline . “I love nu metal but it can be so overwhelmingly macho, and hearing that style be revamped in 2020 by a queer woman of color is just so freaking cool. Her rage is only bolstered, not compromised, by her femininity.”
