This week, our at-home #DJspotlight is Big Tex! In addition to his weekly shows, Big Tex took over as the Programming/Music Director at KCPR in January. When asked about making his show he said, "Having that sweet, sweet mid-morning spot, I get to build my shows to include a lot of diverse genres. Recently, my shows have been pretty light, but I do love to mix it up from time to time. I typically start the morning off with people like @devendrabanhart and @bigthiefmusic then move into the afternoon with acts like @carolineplz and @destroyer_band . I’m late to the party, but I have probably played (Sandy) Alex G on every other show recently. He’s incredible!
