#MoodySpotlight: Since middle school, Lia Hoang knew she wanted writing to be at the heart of her career. Now, as a third-year utjschool student with a minor in business and media and entertainment industries, she’s turning that passion into action. “Over the years, my love for writing evolved into a love for creating compelling stories across any form of media such as broadcast or social media, with writing serving as the foundation for that.” Lia chose #TEXASMoody for its hands-on learning, knowing it would shape her future beyond the classroom. “I’ve had exposure to writing in-depth articles, interviewing students and professionals such as Austin City Council members, editing videos, posting live updates through social media and more just in my classes.” Lia is the social media intern for utjschool and utexasslhs here at #TEXASMoody, where she’s been putting her video editing and production skills to work!
