#TerrierTuesdays: Meet Harshita Pattam (bu_cas ’26)! Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Harshita’s transition to BU was a big change. She chose BU because of the Seven-Year Liberal Arts and Medical Education program. She also wanted to move to another vibrant city with plenty of activities and new foods to try—so Boston was perfect. Currently, Harshita is a junior majoring in Medical Sciences with a minor in Deaf Studies. Outside the classroom, she serves as the Director of the Events Department for BU Student Government (bustudentgov), one of the Co-Directors for the TIME (Tackling Inequalities in Medical Education) initiative, a member of Alpha Chi Sigma (axsatbu), Vice President of BU Global Medical Brigades (bugmb), an undergraduate nephrology researcher in the Lu Lab through UROP (bu_urop ), and a member of the ASL Honor Society (budeafstudies).
