In a press conference held by BYU Athletics this morning, BYU Basketball star Egor Demin officially declared for the NBA Draft. During the press conference, Demin expressed gratitude to BYU, BYU Athletics, Real Madrid, his family, friends, and Cougar Nation. He said he’ll be a BYU Cougar for life and will always consider BYU home. Following Demin’s announcement, head coach Kevin Young spoke to the media, stating that Egor has a bright NBA future and that his play style fits well with the league’s tempo and spacing. Demin is currently projected to be a lottery pick in this summer’s NBA Draft. BYU Basketball players in attendance included Richie Saunders, Mihailo Boskovic, Brody Kozlowski, Dawson Baker, and Jared McGregor.
