Elk hunter Henry Rauschenbach’s near-death story is a gut-wrenching, inspiring account of wilderness survival.⁠ ⁠ After tagging a bull in the Idaho wilderness, he began to quarter the elk and accidentally cut through the hide and into his forearm, severing an artery.
