It’s sports day season in Jamaica, and the children of track legends are already proving the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Sprint queen Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce returned to her son’s school with her signature speed and spirit, winning the popular parent race once again. In a fun face-off, she dashed past entrepreneur Doneisha “Loud Boss” Johnson, and other competing parents. Fraser-Pryce's son Zion also stole the spotlight, securing gold and proving that on and off the field, greatness runs in the family.
Meanwhile, retired sprint star Asafa Powell watched with pride as his son blazed to victory in his own race, giving the former 100m world record holder a reason to beam. From proud podium moments to hilarious sideline commentary, this year’s school sports day events have turned into mini Olympics—with Jamaican sprint royalty reminding us why speed is simply in their DNA.
