I love this “almost forgot that this was the whole point” trend. I find this true, even when it comes to travel. It’s not about the checklists or logistics or cramming in as much as possible (though, as a travel advisor, I’m guilty of all the above!) That’s the “what”. But the “why”? It’s the feeling of arriving somewhere and noticing something shift in you. The chance encounters. The conversation with people whose day to day lives look different from yours. The quiet moments of awe when you realize how vast and beautiful the world is and how small and special that makes you feel in return. This reel is a little reminder (to me, and perhaps to you too) that the whole point of traveling isn’t just to go, it’s to be. To slow down & notice.
