On Sunday 13 April, police, emergency service and health care teams joined blue_ribbon_foundation for the annual Angela Taylor Memorial Walk/Run held at Albert Park Lake.
At 1.00pm on Thursday 27 March 1986, a car bomb exploded outside the police complex on Russell Street Melbourne. As a result, a young Constable Angela Rose Taylor took the full force of the explosion and died in hospital a few weeks later on April 20.
Committed to helping others in the community, our police and emergency services continue to demonstrate those same values Angela did.
This year, the letrvic community fielded a record number of participants for the event and were honoured to join hundreds of their colleagues and their families, friends and fur babies in a walk around the lake.
The Memorial Run/Walk continues to be held in honour of Angela and all Victoria Police members who lost their lives serving and protecting our community. A massive congrats to all those that participated on the weeke...
