The Fresno Police Department held a live news conference on Wednesday to provide updated information on a 2016 murder investigation. Fresno Police Chief Mindy Casto said Gurcharan Singh Gill was stabbed to death while working at a convenience store on New Year's Day. She said he was working at Shields Express at Shields and West when 15-year-old Bailey Rosenberger entered the store and, without provocation, stabbed Gill 11 times and kicked him while he was on the ground. Rosenberger was located in Modesto and arrested with the help of the Modesto Police Department on April 2nd.
