In collaboration with fairchildgarden Million Orchid Project our team and volunteers planted over 50 native orchids throughout the public areas of the estate. We have 6 species planted some which were extirpated (locally extinct) and haven’t been seen in over 30 years! We are also growing orchids in our mini propagation lab which you can check out by taking a hike through our Garden Brook Trail. When arriving at the park, make sure to ask our Ticket Staff where to access our Garden Brook Trail and you can experience the magic of native orchids. #conservation #orchids #nationalorchidday
