From racist facial recognition used to falsely arrest Black people to AI-generated deepfakes that spread misinformation, our current digital landscape is dangerous.
Our data should be our own. We deserve full control over our digital identities, protected by:
1) Strong data privacy laws ⚖️
2) Bans on facial recognition in policing ❌
3) Transparent use of AI 🤝
4) Accountability for platforms that amplify anti-Black content 📵
