Columbia voters cast ballots on Tuesday, April 8 to vote in the municipal election. Voter turnout reached 25.18%, a 1.68% increase from the 2022 mayoral election. All incumbents on the ballot won, including Mayor Barbara Buffaloe, who defeated challengers Blair Murphy and Tanya Heath. Incumbent Nick Foster won the race for Columbia City Council’s Fourth Ward, defeating candidate Ron Graves. Jacque Sample, who ran unopposed, was elected to the Third Ward.
