Our patient Henry is a very active two-year-old and a loving big brother. You wouldn't know he was born with a severe bleeding disorder known as hemophilia B, which is a genetic condition that requires regular treatment. With no prior family history, Henry was diagnosed at four-months-old after experiencing unusual and unexplained bruising on his body. Henry receives care from our team within the Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders Program. We are happy to share that Henry hasn't had a single bleeding episode since starting treatment.
