Three people are dead after a multiple boat crash on Smith Lake Wednesday morning during a Major League Fishing Tournament. According to our News partner ABC 3340, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said that 58 year-old Joey M. Broom was killed when the center console vessel he was onboard was struck by a nitro bass boat. The League has announced it will forgo the final day of the tournament due to the incident, which was scheduled for Thursday. The crash remains under investigation.
