The Lancers held their final pep assembly of the year on Thursday, April 17. At the start of the assembly, the Pep Execs brought out junior Dexter Stephens to lead the school in the Viking Chant. The Pep Execs and Principal Jason Peres recognized the athletic and academic achievements of the student body and history teacher Jacob Penner was named NHS Teacher of the Year. Both the varsity Lancer Dancers and the cheerleaders performed routines during the assembly. The Lancers then participated in the dodgeball tournament, with the seniors taking the win. The assembly ended with Principal Peres delivering a speech to the seniors and asking them to lead the school in the school song one last time.
