Throwback to three weeks ago 🧳 Remember how I said I would try to finish "My Government Means to Kill Me" before the Meet & Greet at tomorrowbookstore ? Well, I did it and it was so worth it! The book ended up being a 4-star read for me. Trey was so brave, shameless and brilliant - characteristics I hope to live up to one day. There was so much history intertwined into the story and I enjoyed the liberties Newsome took to incorporate the real life figures into his story. rasheed.newson.author was the first in-person author meet & greet I've ever attended and he made it so easy.
