It Ends With Us follows 23 year old Lily Bloom as she navigates her relationships with men after her father’s death. This book should’ve probably came with a trigger warning. There were a few scenes that included domestic violence, abuse and r*pe. Those scenes were hard to sit through but were an integral part of the story. Lily had an opinion on DV that a lot of people who aren’t in that situation may have. While I think some of the decisions Lily made were questionable, they were important and thoughtful. In a way, I think Hoover showed us that we can be empathetic or give grace to people in difficult situations or we can learn the hard lessons ourselves. Overall, a very good read. EVERYTIME I p...
