A Piece of Mine: Stories but J California Cooper. I got this book for Christmas and it was great. The stories give a very southern sitting on your porch listening to grown folks gossip feel. I know people like to say VA isn’t southern enough but heck the stories in this book make me feel at home or some sense of familiarity. Now these stories were W I L D. Each of them had me distraught in one way or another. BUT you gotta read to the end because like KARMA? THE UNIVERSE? The villain doesnt have to win in the end lol Anyway, I’d recommend this book to anybody who wants to take a break from reading but not really (IYKYK). The stories are super short, very entertaining and don’t require too much brain power!
