Originally from Toronto, Canada, Sydney fell in love with dance the moment she stepped into her first class. Her journey then took her to China, where she continued her training and gained cultural experiences that enriched her movement and artistic expression. At age 9, she moved to Michigan and began competing in all styles of dance—but quickly discovered that hip hop was her true passion. While training at her home studio, Sydney also joined two hip hop crews to deepen her understanding of hip hop foundations and continue growing as a dancer.
