Oakland 💚💛 My heart goes out to each and every Athletics fan whose team will no longer call Oakland home after today. I only got the privilege of visiting their ballpark once, but it gave me memories that I will hold on to and cherish for the rest of my life. This didn’t have to happen, and I couldn’t imagine being treated as poorly as these fans have been for decades. Their passion and love for their team (and the game of baseball), despite all the neglect they’ve faced, is truly inspiring. My words obviously don’t mean much in the wake of this senseless decision, but I hope every Oakland fan knows that their legacy will not soon be forgotten, and hopefully some day another franchise (led by someone who truly cares about this city) will call this place home again. #oaklandathletics #oaklandcoliseum #mlb #baseball #ballpark #rootedinoakland
