Sacramento friends! Mark your calendars for a special story filled summer’s day at FAIRYTALE TOWN! 📚🌈 I’m hosting an afternoon of stories and sharing at @fairytaletownsac on July 17, 2025, from 11:00AM to 2:00PM, to celebrate early literacy and inspire young readers. During the event, I will lead 3 special story time sessions featuring children’s picture books written by local authors ( @erindealey @janaybrownwood @lefthandedsmile @leticiaordaztv ), and will include diverse stories that foster imagination, empathy and a love of reading. In addition to story time, there will be a literacy-themed @givingtuesdayspark bookmark activity, encouraging creative expression & kindness, themes tied to the stories shared. As a special highlight, E Train Talks will be giving every child attending a free new book keep, to help build home libraries, advocate for early literacy & support ongoing learning.
