She’s already a familiar face around Riverwood, and we are thrilled to announce that Coach Ashlyn Davis will be our next Head Softball Coach! Coach Davis grew up playing softball and graduated from Woodstock High School, where she also played lacrosse. After taking two years to work in Africa through the Global Year program, she enrolled at Kennesaw State University and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. Davis first joined Team Riverwood in the spring of 2022 as a community coach for Girls Lacrosse. She’s been dubbed the “team sister” and has had the pleasure of helping coach her little sister, Peyton. She later joined our Riverwood faculty in 2024 and began teaching in our special education department. We are excited to have Coach Davis on board and to expand her coaching footprint at Riverwood.
