Changing into that uniform for the first time on a beautiful Thursday night is the fun part. Goal cellys, ESPN broadcasts, and pregame rituals is what everyone dreams of. But this is the non-glamorous part…getting up before the sun to push yourself to the limits….Every week since January…when you’re tired…or sick…and sore…very sore. That’s what the life of a D1 athlete is all about. And for our Juniors, it’s the last early AM spring lift of their career. And as tough as these mornings can be, I bet each of them is somewhat sad this morning. It goes way too fast. To our TLC, thanks for the energy and leadership this Spring.
