The Kendeda Building is one of the most sustainable buildings on any college campus worldwide. It’s the first building in Georgia and the 28th in the world to earn the Living Building Challenge certification. Its photovoltaic canopy system supplies 225% of the building’s annual energy needs and exports 243,520 kilowatt hours to nearby buildings. The 4,300-square-foot rooftop garden contains the honey bee apiary and pollinator garden. ☀️🐝♻️
