The often overlooked Common waterbuck. Really common in the Lower Zambezi, where this photo was taken, and a lot less common in the South Luangwa. But always beautiful. Always graceful. And quite photogenic. Related to the Puku, Kob and Lechwe, these powerfully built antelope will confidently take to water when threatened by predators such as lions and wilddog.
