Sheryl Lee Ralph on Tuesday sent heartfelt thanks to everyone who “showed up, flew in from around the world—Ghana, Jamaica—and tuned in” for her Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony. The Order of Jamaica honouree praised her Delta sisters for giving her “energy…wrapped around me like the best kind of red carpet,” and recalled moments of dancing, weeping, clapping, praying and “screaming with joy” as highlights she’s still replaying in her mind. “I’m still catching my breath from all of it,” Ralph said in a video, as she continues to read the outpouring of messages and admire the beautiful flowers sent in her honour.
