The girls JV soccer team defeated SM South 3-0 on Tuesday, April 15. Five minutes into the first half, freshman Violet Casey scored a goal with an assist from sophomore Anastasia Flower. Freshman Audrey Rose scored the second goal and was assisted with a pass by freshman Violet Casey. The third and final goal of the game was scored by junior Grace Thibault and assisted by sophomore Maya Monyakula. Goalkeepers freshman Landry Duchene and junior Stella Beaver kept a clean sheet and contributed to their team’s second shutout of the season. The girls JV soccer team has their next game on Thursday, April 17 at 5 p.m. against Olathe Northwest at the Shawnee Mission Athletic Complex.
