We are especially excited about this year’s Earth Day theme: Our Power, Our Planet as we celebrate the 55th anniversary of Earth Day by calling on individuals, communities, and governments to unite behind renewable energy.🌍 Energy sources like solar🌞 and wind💨 are not only renewable and affordable, they are also critical to preserving our rural way of life as stewards of the land.🌱 In the first half of 2023, renewables provided 25% of U.S. electricity—and experts say they could meet 90% of our energy needs within a decade.🔌 We have the technology to meet our needs with clean power. Now we need the will. That’s why Earth Day 2025 urges everyone to help triple global renewable electricity generation by 2030.
