The City of Tempe is lucky to have some truly amazing volunteers who help keep our parks, preserves, and open spaces clean — not just on Earth Day, but all year long. In 2024 alone, more than 2,000 volunteers donated nearly 5,000 hours of their time to care for our community. One standout group, KB Integrated Health Services, showed up every Friday to lend a helping hand — and their incredible dedication earned them the Making a World of Difference award at the Mayor’s Volunteer Appreciation event.
