Today we’re heading to “The Last Frontier” for our Army JROTC #Cadetoftheweek ⛰️ Meet Isabella Iparraguirre, a senior at Bettye Davis East Anchorage High School in Anchorage, Alaska. Iparraguirre sets the bar very high with her accomplishments. She is the Senior Class President, a member of the Alaska Native dance group – the Unangax ancers, and a member of the volleyball team and National Honor Society. She is also an intern for the Aleutian Pribiof Islands Association. Iparraguirre has been in #ArmyJROTC with the Thunderbirds all four years of high school. She is a Legion of Valor recipient and has traveled outside of Alaska to Colorado and Florida for competitive drill meets. She is inspired by her mother, who did #JROTC in high school and was a senior ranking cadet. Iparraguirre is applying to service academies and numerous other schools to pursue an undergraduate degree outside of Alaska.
