Introducing Maddox Dorado, a senior at Canon City High School in Colorado, as our #ArmyJROTC #CadetOfTheWeek 🎉 Dorado is the Tiger Battalion Executive Officer and captain of the Raider Challenge team for his #JROTC program. He joined JROTC to learn more about the Army and improve his leadership. “JROTC motivates me to not only be a better cadet, but inspire others to achieve what seems impossible. Our Raider challenge team is a perfect example. Two years in and we are one of the top competitors.” Dorado is also a varsity Cross Country runner who enjoys all the outdoor activities Colorado offers. “JROTC has provided me with a sense of community and family while also providing the ability to lead others and trial different approaches. Although the stress at times can be demanding or difficult, the lessons I have learned are invaluable.” Dorado plans to continue service after high school and is currently applying for a 4-year #NationalScholarship.
