In 2013 I was a block away from the finish line when the explosions went off. It was the scariest moment of my entire life. I haven’t been back down to the Marathon since, first because it felt scary, then because life changed with kids and all. There’s a unique sound to Boylston St on Marathon Monday. The cheers, the bells, it took me right back to that day. But it felt so good to be back there on Boston’s best day! I love this city with my whole ❤️.
