Fung Lum Years of Operation: 1982 – 1998 Located just outside the Universal Studios Hollywood property at 222 Universal Terrace Parkway in Universal City, CA, Fung Lum was a popular Chinese restaurant for over 15 years. Following its closure in 1998, the building sat abandoned for over a decade and was even used as a filming location for Balls of Fury, which was set in a Chinese restaurant.
