“During my time in undergrad, I held a lot of internships in different industries spanning from nonprofit, media, consulting, and insurance. Through these work experiences I was exposed to different types of leadership, strategies, and most importantly people! As a Filipino American, the typical career route that was pursued was nursing. The business route was often deemed as too risky, however through mentorship and the pursuit of intelligence I was confident that I wanted to continue my business and marketing career.” Following her graduation from Sacramento State University, Rinna Pera decided to pursue her MBA at #SDSUFowler while continuing her work as a marketer in the technology industry.
