Rating everything we ate at wakeandtake.coffeeshop! This is voted the best coffee shop in Denver. Technically in Aurora but it’s worth the drive. They serve INSANELY good European pastries and specialty lattes. Snickers latte: 10/10 because it came with whipped cream, DUH! Caprese sammie: 8/10. Solid. Like, you really can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches, honestly. Samsa beef pie: 8.5/10. Flaky, flavorful, basically a hug in food form. Sausage in a blanket: a freaking 12/10. The bread??? So good.. Dulce de leche rollos: 14/10. I licked my fingers. Omg, EW DAVID! So embarrassing 😂 This Russian-style cupcake: Omg. 200/10. Every bite was chef’s kiss. Russian honey cake: I’m not kidding. 1000/10. This cake alone deserves a national holiday. Whatever you’re doing right now, RUN, don’t walk to Wake and Take.
