At our Spring Camp, Scouts had an opportunity to earn merit badges in exciting disciplines like Motorboating. 🛑 We don’t just turn on the boat and go. To earn this badge, Scouts must demonstrate proper boat handling procedures, including safety checks, life jacket inspection, docking and securing the boat, and knowledge of maritime rules. Our kids went home knowing how to read directional lights, tie proper knots, and identify hazards. Not bad for Spring Break, eh?
