Every spring, Boise locals flock to Ann Morrison Park to enjoy its vibrant blooms, expansive green spaces, and the serene Boise River. This 153-acre urban oasis offers a plethora of activities from frisbee and soccer to leisurely strolls along the Greenbelt. Established in 1959 by Harry W. Morrison, co-founder of the Morrison-Knudsen Company, the park was a heartfelt tribute to his late wife, Ann Morrison. Ann, affectionately known as the “First Lady of Construction,” traveled the world with Harry, supporting his endeavors and touching many lives along the way. Her legacy lives on in this park, a gift to the community she cherished. Whether you’re here for the springtime blossoms or to connect with Boise’s history, Ann Morrison Park offers a unique blend of nature and heritage.
