A man, Jackie Lee Adkins, 67, formerly from Alabama who was living in West Virginia has been extradited and is now sitting in the Tuscaloosa County Jail after being charged with multiple child sex crimes. While conducting the investigation, VCU identified three more child victims. Adkins is being held in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $500,000 cash bond. The investigation is ongoing and VCU is encouraging anyone else who may have been a victim or knows of anyone who may have been a victim to contact VCU.
